This is my first entry in this blog, my first blog for that matter. Jut a few words about me, I live in Missouri, married to the perfect (for me) man for 15 years, 2 dogs and a brat of a macaw. Some of my interest include scrapbooking and quilting - hence the blog name, reading, camping with the hubby and friends, and cruising the internet.
I am a teacher and have been for 15 years. I am currently looking for a new position. I teach 5th and 6th grades. I am a looping (loopy???) teacher, meaning, I keep my kids for 2 years then they move to the middle school. I really enjoy it. I am involved with the Missouri State Teachers Association. I serve on the Board of Directors representing the teachers in my region. I really enjoy my work there. I hope that I am able to continue that work when I move to a new position. I'll keep updating the search for that new job. It is a HUGE step for me. I don't accept change very well and this has been a several month process. The hubby is freaking out that I won't have a job for next year. I trust that what every God has planned for me will happen whether I realize it or not.
My next post, I hope will have some pictures of what I am currently working on with my quilting and my scrapbooks. I have a recipe swap to get out by next week. Better get on it quick!
